Story

The Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard is a seven-acre vineyard located in the cool Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County. Organically grown and dry-farmed, the Vineyard is primarily planted to Zinfandel on Goldridge Loam soil. Under the care of the Fanucchi family for the past 29 years, the head-trained vines have been raised, allowing for greater sun exposure and air circulation, reinvigorating the old vines. The results are small berries with bright and concentrated fruit flavors, creating an intense wine.
